Jewelry lives on your skin, so the material matters. 935 and 960 germanium-silver is a solid, nickel-free alloy, no hidden layers. What you see is what your skin touches, all the way through. With a high precious-metal content and a clean Ag–Cu–Ge composition, contact stays consistent and predictable, day after day. The feel is smooth and comfortable. For sensitive wearers, the absence of nickel and mixed base-metal coatings is a clear win.
so clean
Have you noticed black discoloration on your skin – and on your favorite silver jewelry? That’s not a skin issue, it’s tarnish: a dark coating (silver sulfide) that forms on conventional sterling silver and rubs off when worn. The cause is air, skin oils, and residues from soap or cosmetics – the shine fades, and the metal appears dull and black. Our answer: Germanium silver 935/960. This modern alloy reacts noticeably more slowly, the look stays bright longer, and staining happens far less often. If patina appears, it’s a soft, warm-light shimmer instead of deep black. The result: less polishing, more wearing, a lasting clean glow.
We alloy our material in house from Swiss fine silver granules with a precise touch of germanium. With 935 and 960, you get 93.5 or 96% fine silver instead of 92.5% sterling, more precious metal per piece and a higher intrinsic material value. We work in small, tightly controlled batches to keep the composition exact. It’s substance you can feel and a grade that sits above standard sterling.
